You walk into the room and your eyes slowly adjust to the dim lighting. A strong, rich smell wafts through the air, evidence of the unseen kitchen. The homely murmur of conversation pulls you in and you find yourself sliding up to the counter and taking a seat. The mismatched wooden furniture creaks beneath you, but it's more a welcome than a protest. Raucous laughter from a group across the room draws your attention, until a friendly face appears behind the counter and beams at you. "Welcome to The Owl and Fox! Or as the regulars like to call it, The Hoot and Howl." The proprietor gives you a conspiratorial wink. "What'll it be?"

My social media break didn’t go as expected…but it wasn’t a total waste.
I try to read my Bible every day, but sometimes I can fall into a rut. So when those times come, instead of giving up, I try to switch up my routine, get creative, and spark a little life back into my quiet times with God.
We’re born being separate from God, and that broken relationship is the root of all our other brokenness. And we can only find true healing in God. Music and worship can have an incredibly powerful healing effect on us, when we are searching for healing in God.
